– Welcome to season 30 of the Robert E. McCabe Baseball League. As you all know
this is the third decade in which this wonderful and fantastic league has come
into existence. Thanks to all the owners that returned and welcome aboard to the
new owners. Before we get into our recommendations for induction into the
Hall of Fame we will like to go over a few things regarding the upcoming season
and what to expect in the future issues of McCabe Magazine. One of the things we are very excited about at the end of the season is putting together an all decade
team which will include the decades MVP, Cy Young Award Winner and the TEAM of the
DECADE. As you all know before the season starts we will be posting the season 29 Organization/Owner of the Year Award Winner which recognizes the top organization in baseball last season. We will also be posting our season 30 preview issue and award winners. And as always if anyone would like to contribute an article or any interesting facts, stats of the day, etc. please site mail me or Trade Chat and I will cut-and-paste the article into the McCabe blog.
Now here are our recommendations for this year’s Hall of Fame. What we did this year was ranked several deserving players 1-8 that should get strong consideration.
