Brewer shopping starter Fred Hart (P)14-4, 4.47 ERA, could
be a good #2-5 starter on a contender.
Pirates Alexi Solis is the Pitcher of the Week. He gave
up 5 earned runs in 36 innings for an ERA of 1.25. He went 4-1 over a span of 5
games. Solis struck out 20 while only walking 12.
Chicago Cubs Alex Javier named the Player of the Week. He
went 31/69 for a batting average of .449 and hit 7 homeruns in 17 games. Javier
also drove in 15 runs, stole 2 bases and made 1 good play.

the trading block according to sources in the front office. Also Sammy Petersen (CF) and Pascual Fuentes (LF) both are slated

The Yankees have updated the list of players they are willing
to let go for prospects.
Marlins owner and operator lido9613 sent a strange tweet at
3 AM to all major league owners on Tuesday with the following proposal; Florida
will not be required to travel to Seattle and vice versa. The league shall
agree to just split the games 50/50 as it relates to wins and losses. After
reading the early morning tweet the local sheriff’s office was notified to do a

With the trade deadline approaching, the Kansas City Royals
are not sure if they are buying or selling, but have asked clubs to take a look

for an offensive 3B type. They presently do not have true third-basemen (3B) on
the major league roster. Juan Benitez (SS) 8 HR, 44 RBI 93 games 75
games at 3B, Nigel Song (SS) 4 HR 8 RBI 59 games 31 games at
3B, and Walter Sparks (SS) 1 HR, 5 RBI 53 games 18
games at 3B.
With the deadline coming up, Brewers front office has let it
known they’re willing to move some key pieces which could help a contender
looking for that last piece.
The Yankees are looking to trade first-basemen Danry Beltran 102 games, 19 HR 72 RBI 272 BA.
He hit 31 HR and 104 RBI 290 BA in season 37 and 25 HR 96 RBI 318 BA in season
38.
Mariners are shopping 32 year-old pitcher Louie Collins 8 games 1-1 with 1 save 3.72 ERA.
He has played for 6 teams during his 14 year pro career. His career numbers;
30-28 with 2 saves 1.41 Whip and a 4.85 ERA.
