Power Ranking Notes
Las Vegas, NV (McC) The Anaheim Angels are ranked first (1st) in
three of the six noted categories and have been installed by 7 of the top 10
sports books in Las Vegas as the odds on favorite to win seasons 25 major
league World Series. We met with noted odds maker Tommy “the Snitch” LaRosa of
the Las Vegas Hilton and sports book about the season 25 Anaheim Angels, “ we
here at LVH are very impressed with the Angels, they are ranked number one (1) in
Wins, ERA, and WHIP, 4th in OPS, 5th in both Runs Scored
and Fielding Percentage. This is a runaway train, if you hear them coming its
too late, get the broom and dust pan out, here comes the sweep.” Tommy went on
to say “we have them as a 10-1 favorite (bet 10 to win 1) to win the division,
a 3-1 favorite to take the pennant, and a 2-1 World Series Champion.” Most wise
guys we spoke to also like the Angels, however the smart money seems to be
leaning toward the Toronto Blue Jays.
It’s been a long time since we've seen a team go wire to
wire, nevertheless if anybody is going to accomplish that feat, it will be this
