McCabe Magazine Announces its Season 26 Hall of Fame Selections
Brooklyn, NY (McC) - We here at McCabe magazine is
very excited about the upcoming Hall of Fame nominees. We recognize there is
wide range of voting perspectives, and an endless amount of point and counter
point debates. McCabe magazine would like to settle these complex disputes by
offering our Hall of Fame selections as a community service to all the McCabe
League owners.
Our first selection should be the league’s first
unanimous choice to be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame class.
8 time MVP, 13 All-Star appearances, and 3 World
Series rings. Cortes finished 3rd on the All-Time career Batting
Average list with a .332 BA. He also made the McCabe Magazine all decade team (seasons
11 – 20), and was named the team’s MVP.
Whang is the McCabe League all-time HIT KING with
3,048 hits! No one in the history of major league baseball has ever collected
3,000 hits. Hall of Famer Placido Ortiz is 2nd on the all-time
Hit list with 2,923.
Kennedy ended his career as the all-time RBI king with
1,947 RBIs, and 672 Home Runs, 4th on the all-time career Home Run
list. Five (5) time All-Star and season 7 American League Rookie of the Year
award winner.
Two (2) time Cy Young award winner, 8 time All-Star,
4th on the all-time strikeout list with 3,296, and has 263 wins.
Our long shots that should get some consideration
Ten (10) time All-Star, 3 time World Series winner,
and 4 time Silver Slugger award winner at 3B.
Seven (7) time All-Star, 2 time World Series winner,
304 career batting average, and 7 time Silver Slugger award winner at Center
field.
