Cincinnati, Ohio (MCM) – Welcome to season 32 and welcome to all the new owners, ojinga * Oakland Athletics, sbank65 * Philadelphia Phillies, and franknterry Atlanta Braves to the best and most exciting  league  on the web. Before we get started with the McCabe Magazine season preview I would like to apologize for the late publication of our preview issue. As some of you know I was just released from the Hamilton County Justice Center here in Cincinnati for violating a restraining order issued against me by Bill Edward’s inventor of the Squatty Potty. My attorney has advised me not discuss the case in public however I think it’s important that you guys know the details and the circumstances involving my arrest. I was the original Squatty Potty field tester and was involved with the design of the first prototype. Bill Edwards promised me $275 for testing the prototype plus expenses. My expenses included $21.50 for toilet paper, $7.95 for toilet wipes, $11.75 transportation costs, and $14.25 for dry cleaning cost for soil clothing. Without my testing of the original squatty potty the product would not have made it to market as a result I’m now asking for 10% of the gross sales. So again, I apologize for the late publication and for those of you who have renewed your subscription to McCabe Magazine I would like to say thank you, and for those of you who are thinking about renewing I hope this explanation explains any irregularities or concerns you may have had.

The Playoff Picture

In the American League the Washington Nationals will beat the Houston Astros for the American League pennant, and in the National League the Seattle Mariners will win their second consecutive National League pennant by beating the Cincinnati Reds. The division winners in the American League will be the Toronto Blue Jays, Washington Nationals, the Astro’s, and the San Francisco Giants. In the National League the titleholders will be the Reds, the New York Mets, Richmond Virginians, and the Mariners. The wildcard winners will be the New York Yankees, St Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, and the San Diego Padres.
