THE SEATTLE MARINERS McCABE MAGAZINE'S TEAM OF THE DECADE
THE SEATTLE MARINERS McCABE MAGAZINE'S TEAM OF THE DECADE
Daytona Beach, FLA (McC.com) - McCabe Magazines team of the
decade is the Seattle Mariners. This team dominated the decade like the San
Diego Padres dominated the decade of the 20s. Seattle won 1087 games, 4 National
League Pennants, 9 NL West division titles, and 4 Robert E McCabe World Series
trophies. Each of the noted team stats is the best in the major leagues during
that decade except for division titles. Seattle and the Washington Nationals both
finished the decade with 9 titles, the Mariners winning 9 straight, and
Washington winning 8. The Nationals consecutive
division title streak was broken in season 38 by the Boston Red Sox when they
captured title with an 85-77 record.
What a decade for the Mariners, now what’s ahead for the
league, who will be our next team of the decade? The 40s have begun,.. Enjoy!
