ODDS TO WIN THE SEASON 34 WORLD SERIES
Las Vegas, NV (McC.COM) - As you all know we spend a lot of our free time with he folks at Westgate Casino and Sportsbook. Westgate is the largest sportsbook in the world and the biggest with the best handicapping staff in the desert. Today we ran into one of our former colleagues longtime ESPN and CBS broadcaster Brent Musburger, now working here as a handicapper and radio personality on a show called "Stats and Info" on XM channel 204 Sirius 215 and SXM app Ch 961. Brent tells us the super book likes St Louis to win it all with Seattle winning the National League pennant.
Brent points out the Cardinals are ranked number one (1) in wins with 100, 1 in ERA, 2 in WHIP, 4 in OPS, 6 in runs scored, and the best pitcher in baseball Adam Bradford (17-4). "Its a layup, a no doubter,.. I'm going hard on St. Louis." I took his advice a laid a 50 spot on the Cardinals. Before we left Brent asked to borrow 100 bucks and he also asked me about joining McCabe Magazine as a columnist writing a handicapping series, creating betting articles and commentary and opinions. I was delighted and offered him the job on the spot, however he declined the position after learning of the pay, telling us "I have a better offer at Pizza Hut delivering pies." With that I thanked him for his time and headed to the crap table.
