McCABE MAGAZINE'S SEASON 24 PREDICTIONS

DODGERS WIN THE WORLD SERIES

The Chicago Cubs fall to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4 games to 2

Cincinnati, OH (McC.com) - It’s that time of year when the most comprehensive baseball preview magazine is release. The Baseball Writers of America, McCabe Magazine, all 32 beat writers in each major league city, along with some input from several front office personnel has help us each year with the preview issue. As in years past, we are the most accurate preview magazine on your newsstand and on the web. That’s not just us making that claim, last year for the 10th year in a roll we here at McCabe Magazine have received a Pulitzer for outstanding sports writing and for the 13th year the Scripts Howard Editors Award. We are recognized as the best professional baseball magazine on the planet.

In season 23 preview issue we correctly predicted all 4 division winners in the America League and 5 of 6 playoff teams. In the National League we got 3 of the 4 division winners and 4 of the 6 playoff teams. When we do our highly scientific analysis of the clubs, we look at the starting lineups, bench, rotations, the bullpen, potential injuries, minor leaguers ready for call up, and most importantly the general manager and manager. This is not an easy process, once the season ends and the World Series champion is crowned the all-knowing, all-seeing machine known as the McCabe Magazine crane up the computers, and compiled the data for the next season. This year we feel the strongest major league teams from top to bottom is the Anaheim Angels, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers, another AL West club, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and the San Diego Padres.

Playoff Teams and Division Winners

In the American League the division winners will be the Angeles, Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and the Texas Rangers. In the National League we like the Cubs, Padres, Florida Marlins, and the New York Mets. Our Wildcard winners will be the Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves, and the Detroit Tigers. Los Angeles will triumph over Anaheim to win the AL pennant and the Cubs will finish off the Mets to take the NL flag.
