ROBERT E, McCABE MAGAZINES SEASON 36 PREVIEW ISSUE

WASHINGTON NATIONALS WINS IT ALL
4-3 OVER THE SEATTLE MARINERS

Welcome Back Everyone!

Cincinnati, OH (McC.COM) – Welcome to season 36 and to McCabe Magazines season preview issue. Since we don’t have any new owners this season, we here at McCabe Magazine would like to thank all the owners for returning with a record breaking rollover, thanks everyone.

Washington Nationals 4-Peat Making History

Six-time All-Star Raymond Wall (RF) batted 320 in season 35, and Stevie Young (DH) hit 54 Home Runs, 138 RBI, when the Washington Nationals became the second team in history to 3-Peat as World Series Champions. The Florida Marlins accomplish that feat in seasons 5, 6 and 7. In season 36 the Nationals will become the first team in history to WIN the Robert E. McCabe World Series Trophy four consecutive years in a 7 game series over the Seattle Mariners NL Champions.

Washington runs out a season 36 daily lineup that features Wall, Young, Darrel Davies (1B) 33 HR, 99 RBI, a former Rookie of the Year and 4-time All-Star, Raymond Black (C) 3 All-Star appearances and 2 Silver Slugger Award winner,  Juan Chavez (SS) 3 time Gold Glove Award winner, and left-fielder Dan O'Brien 27 Home Runs in S35. This group of professional hitters will provide the pop in the offense. Ace of the pitching staff Terry Campbell (13-7, 1.13 Whip, 3.12 ERA) along with pitchers Ed Gran and Nipsey Hines both won 15 games last season will provide the defense and carry the Nationals to the season 36 championship. The Nationals are missing 2/5ths of the starting rotation in pitchers Tim Hitchcock and Al Tejada. Hitchcock signed a Free-Agent contract with the Texas Rangers and Tejada signed a FA contract with the New York Mets. However the only player we feel missing from the Nationals three year run that can add a few bumps in the road is 31 year-old Bartolo Hernandez, who won the McCabe Magazine Postseason MVP award last year. Hernandez left via Free-Agency signing a five (5) year $100 million dollar contract with the Boston Red Sox in the off season. He is making a whopping $26 million this season; he made $10 million in season 35.

The McCabe Magazine and Baseball American Magazine panel of experts along with the 32 beat writers in every major league market have selected the Washington D.C. Nationals as the winner of the Season 36 World Series Championship.
